My Story
In 1981, I joined the Air Force and was assigned to Altus AFB, OK. While there, I worked on the C-141 Starlifter. I lived there for 3 years.
In 1984, I received my first assignment overseas which was in Kadena AFB, Japan (the Island of Okinawa). I worked on C-5’s, C-141’s and C-130’s. After 3 years, I decided it was time to move on.
1987 my next assignment was Charleston AFB, SC. There was so much to do at Charleston AFB that I stayed for 6 years.
1993 my second assignment overseas was at Lajes Field The Azores (Terceira Island). It was beautiful! I almost hated leaving, but Lajes served as a stepping stone toward Ramstein.
In 1994, I arrived at Ramstein AFB, Germany. I enjoyed my time there so much that I decided to do a second tour and after 6 years it was time to leave
In 2000, I went to Whiteman and 2 years later retired with 22 years
My goal now is to finish my skoolie and hit the road helping other's in whatever way I can

Wood County CO-OP #24
I don't understand
Wood County CO-OP
The only attraction ,The best steak in the world COWBOY DINNER TREE.
I wish I would have known about that because I would have gone
Thanks for sharing ✌️🙏👍
Gettin close
Didn’t hear from me
I don't understand
Thanks for sharing ✌️🙏👍
Thanks for sharing this information 👍 ✌️🙏👍
Just trying to help others out
Love the content. I would add a gin pole would reduce the stress/strain on the winch/raising mechanism and the structure itself. Best DX!
Thanks for watching
It would’ve made a better video if we had seen it raised to full height.
Yes I should have done that and shown it in action by actually thickening something
Why not go the insider?
What do you mean
Thanks for sharing ✌️🙏👍
I realy like sharing when I think it can help others
Very Nice tool! I had one of the Craftsman ones from the 90's but it is long since dead. I will have to look into this.
Yeah it took me a long time to find this one, I watch another u-tube channel where this guy has been using it on several things and decided to order it. So far I'm very happy with it
Bro didnt even show a close up view of the tower raised, bruh
Sorry about that
Thanks so much for sharing this.
You're welcome, I'm just glad I decided to check it out myself
Good job on knowing your stuff ✌️🙏👍
Thanks, you have to because these auto parts store employees aren't mechanics and many times they make mistakes that can cost you a lot of money
Love this video. Very well explained 👍🏻
Thanks I appreciate that, would love it if you would subscribe as I am only 30 subscribers from 1k
@@Coolbreeze61 sure can. Great work on the Antenna, it a impressive collection and very well arranged. Must of taken for ever to plan and put together. Thank you for posting 👍🏻
If you like mechanical things i have another channel called "Cool Breeze Restoration" that's just getting started
Good job 👍
Thanks, it's better than having to buy another one
I would never stand anywhere near that Cable under tension, if failed, could almost cut a person in half.
I agree, we weren't that close, thanks for watching
@@Coolbreeze61 I agree with markmanning. YOU WERE IN THE LINE OF FIRE! Look at the video at ---> 9:31 If that steel cable snaps it's headed right toward the base of that tower. And that's right where you were!
That is really good news!
Yes it was, now I'm not concerned anymore
Good news! 😊
Very good news!
Glad it wasn't a stroke
Me too
✌️🙏👍
Good news Paul! Glad to hear.
Thanks so much for watching
to alleviate the bouncing damage to the float, did you try to run the carburetor dry when shutting down >?
Yes but only when I remembered
✌️🙏👍
Mornings
Mornings? Are you saying that's when I should post?
I've heard the Texas vehicle inspection law is ending this year. Good luck in Arizona.
It is ending for the state but not all counties will end it, for example Dallas county will probably keep the inspection because it's income for them
We found that white/clear cable ties deteriorated with exposure to UV over time and would break. Black holds up far better.
Thanks for the heads up
✌️🙏👍
i need to kow the factory o this telescopic antenna thank you
Not sure what you're talking about, I'm not a ham operator, I just videod it for my friend
I can’t wait to come out and visit. 😊
I didn't know you were planning to come
@@Coolbreeze61 I can’t wait to get out to the West Coast. It’s OK that I come visit right?
@sharoneasley absolutely but make sure I'm going to be here first
@@Coolbreeze61 I will definitely let you know and you know what it depends on.
@sharoneasley so you're talking in the new future? I'm leaving here Sunday to go back to Dallas, I'll be in Dallas until August or September when I head back here and once I'm back it's going to be almost nonstop getting the property cleared even more (I under estimated how much room 100 ft x100 ft would be) so yeah we're (my friend and I) are going to clear more of my property.
"Do you care if I run over those trees ?" LOL nope as long as you don't expect me to pay for your tires.
Lol, he did lose air in one trailer tire (BTW, those trees/bushes are coming down anyway)
Nice
Very cool. That's when you know you have a really good operator. Oh wow I didn't know the trailer could do that. Very Impressive.
Thanks for watching and subscribing, 2 more things that I would like to happen before I head back to Dallas is my friend is going to spread the gravel and Friday they are coming to do Septic soil samples so I can get the Septic system permit (you need that before you can do anything else)
@@Coolbreeze61 Very cool
Thanks!
Nice
They are coming to do septic soil samples Friday, hopefully you can spread the gravel before I leave
@@Coolbreeze61 we have time
Congratulations and your sub count is almost 1000 👍🙋, Iris & Little One 👋🐾
Thanks for watching
LOL, I live in NY but my Son is a Lee County Commissioner in Sanford, NC and grand son on Benhaven FD! I have two Ham Antennas but no tower yet, my next Ham investment.
its very dangerous with the steel wire....
So happy for you!
Thanks so much
Looking Good Paul
Thanks Jim, next will be gravel
Looks good ✌️🙏👍
Awesome update on the homestead ✌️🙏👍
Congratulations.
Looking forward to see your progress, Paul . 👍🏻
I only have a month left here then I have to go back to Dallas for a couple of months but I will be continuing to improve on the property
The Property is looking great! Oh man don't just burn that Mesquite wood sell that stuff brother. I love cooking with it and so do a lot of folks.
I'll try to sell it but don't know if there is a market for it here
@@Coolbreeze61LOL load that up and take it back to Texas you might be able to pay for your gas just saying
wonderful
Cool ✌️🙏👍
Nice !
Kewl
Oh wow! I remember the days when this stuff was so much simpler and a mechanic was a mechanic.
It's hard to find a good honest mechanic these days
